When you begin the mortgage process as a first-time buyer, you aren't aware that most banks will pass you from person to person, turning an already daunting process into a stressful ordeal. However, with EBS you have a dedicated mortgage person in your corner the whole way through the process. This campaign bring this unique benefit to life in a funny and memorable way using a healthy dose of hyperbole, a brilliant cast of characters, and a small bucket of body paint.

How do you advertise a zero carbon car, without leaving a carbon footprint? Outdoor advertising in Europe is responsible for an estimated 9,036,000 kg of C02 annually (Sources: Eyetease, European Commission). To highlight the zero carbon credentials of Volkswagen’s all electric ID.3 and ID.4, we wanted to create an advert as sustainable as the vehicles themselves. So we repurposed a standard 48-sheet outdoor billboard into a giant artist's blank canvas. Then, using only pencil, our illustrator hand-drew our advertisement on-site in just 48 hours. This was one of our most awarded campaigns of 2021.

Barry’s is a local Irish brand with a long history of storytelling in their advertising. Traditionally they would be always stories of Irish people moving abroad, and feeling at home with a cup of Barry’s. Ireland has long been a nation of emigrants and our diaspora are scattered all over the world so this always had a unique relevance to our people. With this campaign we wanted to flip that old familiar construct on its head and tell a different story – one that speaks to a more modern Ireland. So this is the story of an immigrant who moves to Ireland to study and grows to love the place through the quirks and eccentricities of the people – at the centre of this is the ritual of Barry’s tea.

BBDO Dublin

Since March 2020, I have been Executive Creative Director in BBDO Dublin. My role involves managing a department of 20-25 as well as overseeing all of our creative work across all of our clients. During that time, we have won Irish Agency of the Year at the Kinsale Sharks back to back in 2021 and 2022. We were the second most awarded agency at ICAD in 2022. And we have risen up the Immortal Award national creative rankings from 6th to 2nd place.

Above are just a few notable miscellaneous campaigns from that time. There are also notable campaigns for Dublin Simon Community, Lidl Ireland, Tourism Northern Ireland, and the Road Safety Authority which were created during this time.
