After the success of the Wild Atlantic Way, Fáilte Ireland were staring down the barrel of a difficult second album. The challenge with Ireland’s Ancient East was that people believed they already knew all that the region has to offer. We needed to make people reconsider somewhere they thought they already knew.

So we created “Bedtime Stories” – a film about a little boy who can’t get to sleep. His dad begins to tell him stories from a big orange book and they are transported to the wonderful landscapes of Ireland’s Ancient East. The twist comes at the end when we reveal where the stories are really from.

Directed by D.A.D.D.Y for Red Rage Films, the campaign features music from Villagers – “That Day” recorded live at RAK for the album “Where have you been all my life?”
